Diego Bermudez vs Joaquin Izquierdo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Chamorro, Montevideo,  taking place on 16/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Bermudez (23 - 14(3)) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Joaquin Izquierdo(13 - 16(2)) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Bermudez weighed in at 154 pounds And 11 ounces, while Izquierdo weighed in at 154 pounds.    As Bermudez came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Diego Chirinos, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Gramajo, Ximen Feria and Javier Casto.
