Anton Gusarov vs Evgeny Bryzgalov

Boxing Daily Report from the Ekizyan Promotions promoted show at Khabarovsk Bolotnikov, Khabarovsk,  taking place on 16/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Anton Gusarov (47(33) - 17(14) - 1) who hails from Khabarovsk, Russia and Evgeny Bryzgalov(34(10) - 4 - 2) from Kemerovo, Russia.  Both Gusarov and Bryzgalov weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aleksandr Zhukanenko, and the three ringside judges are Viktor Kosichkin, Mikhail Pavlovski and Nikolai Gulyayev.

Gusarov is looking to close the distance.  Gusarov wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bryzgalov dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gusarov closes the distance.  Bryzgalov pivots to the side of his opponent andThe two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gusarov has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Bryzgalov circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Gusarov is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Gusarov gets on the inside.  Bryzgalov digs in a left hook to Gusarov's body.  Bryzgalov throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Gusarov's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Gusarov forces Bryzgalov to back into the ropes.  Gusarov thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Bryzgalov away.  Gusarov lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS BRYZGALOV TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Bryzgalov now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Gusarov is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Gusarov lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body, AND KNOCKS BRYZGALOV DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Bryzgalov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Gusarov is on target with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  BRYZGALOV IS HURT!
