Mel Nevins vs Denton Dull

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit 3.0 promoted show at Adelaide Giunti, Adelaide,  taking place on 18/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-South Australia Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Nevins (8 - 4 - 1) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Denton Dull(16(10) - 10(3)) from Adelaide, Australia.  Nevins weighed in at 251 pounds and 9 ounces, while Dull weighed in at 228 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Guffy, and the three ringside judges are Roger Milton, Tariq Hasain and Chris Collins.  

Round 1: 

Nevins is looking to close the distance.  Dull lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Dull drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Dull is on target with a stinging left hook to Nevins's liver.  
Nevins is looking to keep his distance.  Dull feints a left hook, and then lands a solid cross.  
Dull is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Nevins's ribs.  
Nevins gets on the inside.  Dull lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Dull pivots to the right of his opponent and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Dull gets on the inside and drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Dull forces Nevins to retreat onto the ropes.  Dull lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Dull sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Nevins.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Dull pivots to the side of his opponent.  Dull lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Dull ties up his opponent.  Dull leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
