Qabil Mardanov vs Khaliq Askerov

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngambi Promotions promoted show at Baku Djabiyev, Baku,  taking place on 19/01/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Qabil Mardanov (30(1) - 11(3)) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Khaliq Askerov(9 - 25(5) - 3) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Mardanov and Askerov weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nurlan Hagverdiyev, and the three ringside judges are Mehman Dzhafarov, Syed Azer and Israfil Hajiyev.  

Round 1: 

Askerov is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mardanov lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

It looks like Askerov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Askerov tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mardanov stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Mardanov lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND SENDS ASKEROV TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Askerov the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mardanov!
