Eduardo Cobian vs Juan Merlos

Boxing Daily Report from the Kpesebaan Promotions promoted show at Curitiba Silvas, Curitiba,  taking place on 17/01/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Brazil-Parana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eduardo Cobian (5 - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Curitiba, Brazil and Juan Merlos(7 - 1) from Curitiba, Brazil.  Cobian weighed in at 135 pounds, while Merlos weighed in at 134 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Angel Meneses, and the three ringside judges are Reynaldo Mangas, Hilario Merlos and Isidro Malta.  

Round 1: 

Merlos feints a left hook, and then lands a stinging jab.
