Mel Estupinan vs Jose Malimban

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at UST Sports Centre, Manila,  taking place on 06/02/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mel Estupinan (9(2) - 0) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and Jose Malimban(17 - 4) from Lipa, Philippines.  Both Estupinan and Malimban weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gervasio Cabading, and the three ringside judges are Paco Labindalawa, Vicente Tapawan and Barry Palomarez.
