Chris Usher vs Kian Vasco

Boxing Daily Report from the Australia Boxing Federation promoted show at Louis Donaghue Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 18/01/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Usher (11 - 5(2) - 4) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Kian Vasco(11 - 20 - 4) from Melbourne, Australia.  Usher weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces, while Vasco weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gus Seward, and the three ringside judges are Will Gray, Abdul Sabir and Ian Niven.  

Round 1: 

Vasco walks Usher down, trapping him on the ropes.  Vasco sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Usher's body.  
Usher is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.

Usher hits home with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vasco dabs at his face checking for damage.  Vasco has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
