Tobias Pottenger vs Dior Giroud

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Place Bell, Laval,  taking place on 27/02/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tobias Pottenger (26(23) - 1(1)) who hails from Halifax, Canada and Dior Giroud(8(4) - 1) from Gaineau, Canada.  Both Pottenger and Giroud weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Prior, and the three ringside judges are Michael Oliver, Prewitt Gedeon and Olier Paradis.  

Round 1: 

Pottenger sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging jab.
