Gan Gene vs Jing Hay

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Zhejiang promoted show at Jun Kong Gym, Hangzhou,  taking place on 22/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Zhejiang Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gan Gene (13 - 8 - 5) who hails from Taizhou, China and Jing Hay(4 - 14 - 4) from Ningbo, China.  Both Gene and Hay weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shing Yung, and the three ringside judges are Quon Ooi, An Yiu and Liang Seng.  

Round 1: 

Gene steps inside.  Gene sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gene throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Hay's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
