Taras Tkachuk vs Diego Mandes

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 06/03/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Taras Tkachuk (28(27) - 1) who hails from Gomel, Belarus and Diego Mandes(40(34) - 18(14)) from Bilbao, Spain.  Tkachuk weighed in at 147 pounds, while Mandes weighed in at 146 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carvell Brame, and the three ringside judges are Nicholas Prior, Vivien de Beauvoir and Chevy Robert.  

Round 1: 

Tkachuk DETONATES a nasty cross on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE MANDES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Tkachuk closes the distance.  Tkachuk is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Tkachuk lands a left hook to the head, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.  He then lands two right uppercuts followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS MANDES!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Mandes has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Mandes snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Mandes drives a cross into Tkachuk's body.  Mandes tries to land a jab, but Tkachuk dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Mandes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Tkachuk gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tkachuk is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Mandes connects with a firm cross.  
Tkachuk advances into close range and is on target with a firm right uppercut to Mandes's body.  Tkachuk tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Tkachuk's ribcage.  
Tkachuk digs in a stinging right hook to Mandes's body.  
Tkachuk digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Tkachuk throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Mandes lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tkachuk drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Tkachuk connects with a BRUTAL left hook.  MANDES IS HURT!  Mandes recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mandes lands a jab followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Mandes walks Tkachuk down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mandes lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tkachuk steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Tkachuk lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Tkachuk advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Tkachuk thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Mandes away.  Tkachuk crashes a spiteful right uppercut to his opponents body.  MANDES HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Mandes has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Tkachuk hits home with a solid cross.  
Mandes drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Tkachuk tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Mandes digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tkachuk finds the target with a hard jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tkachuk's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mandes's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Tkachuk lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Tkachuk walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tkachuk is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Tkachuk lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS MANDES SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Mandes has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Mandes is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Mandes gets on the inside.  Tkachuk lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tkachuk advances into close range and whips in a hurtful right hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE MANDES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Tkachuk is looking to close the distance.  Tkachuk is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Tkachuk lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND MANDES IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Tkachuk!
