Dave Masson vs Paul Elliott

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Circus Circus Casino & Hotel, Las Vegas,  taking place on 21/01/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Dave Masson (6(1) - 4) who hails from Eugene, USA and Paul Elliott(7 - 12(1) - 6) from Columbus, USA.  Masson weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces, while Elliott weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Faulkner, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Latta, Edward Almodovar and David Finnie.  

Round 1: 

Masson is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
