Granger Bedel vs Mallory Paradis

Boxing Daily Report from the Nyongo Promotions promoted show at Marseille Minion, Marseille,  taking place on 25/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Provence-Alpes-Cote dAzur Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Granger Bedel (8 - 12 - 5) who hails from Nice, France and Mallory Paradis(19 - 15(2) - 6) from Marseille, France.  Both Bedel and Paradis weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ferrand Vartan, and the three ringside judges are Rush Nolle, Hello Allie and Oliver Cantona.  

Round 1: 

Bedel attempts to land a jab, but Paradis slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Bedel gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Paradis dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Paradis.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Paradis throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bedel lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.
