Scott Rennick vs Nicholas Cowden

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Circus Circus Casino & Hotel, Las Vegas,  taking place on 21/01/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Scott Rennick (7(2) - 1) who hails from Montgomery, USA and Nicholas Cowden(6 - 6 - 5) from Orlando, USA.  Rennick weighed in at 140 pounds, while Cowden weighed in at 140 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ollie Latta, and the three ringside judges are Edward Almodovar, Mike Faulkner and David Finnie.

Rennick feints a jab, tricking Cowden into countering with a right uppercut.  Rennick avoids the shot and counters with a mean cross.  DOWN GOES COWDEN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Cowden gets on the inside and walks Rennick onto the ropes.  Rennick connects with a solid left hook.  
Rennick is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab to Cowden's body.
