Dario Nicodemus vs Diego Puerto

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Mexicali Camarena, Mexicali,  taking place on 27/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dario Nicodemus (3 - 1) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Diego Puerto(25(6) - 17(6)) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Nicodemus weighed in at 130 pounds, while Puerto weighed in at 129 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Reynaldo Castano, and the three ringside judges are Nicandro Delgadillo, Fausto Cayetano and Jeraldo Toribio.  

Round 1: 

Puerto digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.

Puerto walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Puerto pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Nicodemus has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Nicodemus's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Nicodemus's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Nicodemus's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
