Danyaal Nassif vs Tim McGovern

Boxing Daily Report from the Terry Promotions promoted show at Martyn Nixon Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 30/01/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Wales Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danyaal Nassif (2 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Tim McGovern(4 - 10(1) - 3) from Swansea, UK.  Both Nassif and McGovern weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Terry Lyons, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Birney, Glyn Bowen and Gethin Kerrigan.  

Round 1: 

McGovern hits home with a left uppercut.  
Nassif lands a right hook.  
Nassif connects with a right hook.  
Nassif steps inside.  McGovern pivots to the left of his opponent.  Nassif throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Nassif clinches his opponent.  Nassif is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Nassif pivots to the left of his opponent.  Nassif attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores McGovern's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
McGovern gets on the inside.  McGovern quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McGovern throws a right uppercut, but Nassif ties up his opponent.  McGovern is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, McGovern pushes his forearm into Nassif's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nassif lands a left hook, right hook and a cross to his opponents head.  
McGovern throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Nassif is on target with a right hook.  
Nassif closes the distance.  McGovern lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
McGovern lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Nassif sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McGovern hits home with a right hook.  Nassif clinches his opponent.  McGovern tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nassif behind the head. 
McGovern closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.

Nassif tries to keep the action at long range.  McGovern connects with a cross.  
Nassif throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives McGovern time to recover.
