Jay Fettes vs John Heggins

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Pennison, Christchurch,  taking place on 31/01/2038:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Canterbury have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Fettes (4 - 8 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and John Heggins(3 - 14(1) - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Fettes and Heggins weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Kier, and the three ringside judges are Corey Stobie, Dave Sprouse and Gareth Young.  

Round 1: 

Fettes finds the target with a jab.  
Fettes advances into close range.  Heggins throws a right hook, but Fettes clinches his opponent.  Fettes pushes his forearm into Heggins's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
