Marin Lavanchy vs James Ellis

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at GAT Gym, Gaineau,  taking place on 12/01/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Marin Lavanchy (4 - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and James Ellis(2 - 1 - 1) from Surrey, Canada.  Lavanchy weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces, while Ellis weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Erec Adore, and the three ringside judges are Carvell Brame, Briant Sarraute and Louis Gillespie.  

Round 1: 

Ellis is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Lavanchy slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Lavanchy is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Lavanchy steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook.  Lavanchy ties up his opponent.  Lavanchy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Lavanchy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
