Viktor Karelin vs Ivan Poloz

Boxing Daily Report from the Motsoaledi Promotions promoted show at Vikenti Fetisov Gym, Sochi,  taking place on 01/02/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Krasnodar Krai Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Viktor Karelin (3 - 5 - 1) who hails from Sochi, Russia and Ivan Poloz(7 - 19(1) - 8) from Novorossiysk, Russia.  Karelin weighed in at 174 pounds and 9 ounces, while Poloz weighed in at 175 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Poloz came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Valeri Rebrov, and the three ringside judges are Melor Guba, Melor Guba and Anton Pavlovich.
