Dong-won Ko vs Kee-hee Whang

Boxing Daily Report from the Donkor Promotions promoted show at Bum-young Chee Gym, Gwangju,  taking place on 01/02/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-Gwangju Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dong-won Ko (5 - 19(1) - 4) who hails from Gwangju, South Korea and Kee-hee Whang(17 - 3) from Gwangju, South Korea.  Both Ko and Whang weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bum-young Do, and the three ringside judges are Young-gwon Jeong, Dong-won Kwok and Sung-yeung Sung.  

Round 1: 

Whang drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Whang is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Whang closes the distance.  Whang sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Whang lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Whang holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Whang pushes his forearm into Ko's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Whang to stop fouling.  
Whang lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Whang lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Whang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Whang hits home with a right hook.  Whang holds on to his opponent.  Whang leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ko throws a left hook, but Whang ties up his opponent.  Whang tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ko behind the head. Whang is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Whang's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Whang steps inside and lands a right hook.  Whang ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Whang pushes his forearm into Ko's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Whang about fouling.
