Khalid Halim vs Brown Akpososo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Ezekiel, Kano,  taking place on 03/02/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khalid Halim (23(5) - 0) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Brown Akpososo(19 - 14(1) - 5) from Kano, Nigeria.  Halim weighed in at 130 pounds, while Akpososo weighed in at 130 pounds and 13 ounces.    As Akpososo came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Hope Ukuh, and the three ringside judges are Theophilus Adeniran, Ollie Mbachu and Azubuike Umeasiegbu.
