Brett Rattray vs Leon Stenhouse

Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at The Gym, Kingston,  taking place on 18/01/2038:

Clearly The wright promotion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Brett Rattray (7(6) - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Leon Stenhouse(15 - 21(3) - 4) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Rattray and Stenhouse weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid Eddie, and the three ringside judges are Neil Harp, Sid Eddie and Chris Moir.  

Round 1: 

Rattray lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Rattray ties up his opponent.  Rattray is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Stenhouse sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rattray drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Rattray closes the distance and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Rattray lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Stenhouse pivots to the side of his opponent.  Rattray is on target with a cross.  
Stenhouse forces Rattray to retreat onto the ropes.  Rattray strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Rattray advances into close range.  Rattray pivots to the right of his opponent.  Rattray lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Rattray holds on to his opponent.  Rattray pushes his forearm into Stenhouse's face.  The referee warns Rattray and breaks the clinch.  
Rattray sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Stenhouse throws a left uppercut, but Rattray ties up his opponent.  Rattray pushes his forearm into Stenhouse's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rattray to stop fouling.  
Rattray manages to force Stenhouse into a neutral corner.  Rattray is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Rattray tries to land a right hook, but Stenhouse parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Rattray lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Rattray lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Rattray digs in a right uppercut to Stenhouse's ribs.  
Rattray lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Stenhouse could be stopped here, if Rattray can find the right shot!  Rattray lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STENHOUSE IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Stenhouse has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Stenhouse circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Rattray lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rattray closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Stenhouse's body.  Rattray clinches his opponent.  Rattray leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Rattray throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Rattray lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND SENDS STENHOUSE SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Stenhouse almost instantly recovers. 
Rattray gets on the inside.  Rattray pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rattray lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Rattray steps inside and hits home with a stinging right hook.  Rattray ties up his opponent.  Rattray is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rattray walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Rattray lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Rattray clinches his opponent.  Rattray leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Stenhouse's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Round 2: 

Rattray lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Rattray drives a stinging cross into Stenhouse's body.  Stenhouse now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Rattray gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, KNOCKING STENHOUSE DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Stenhouse recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Stenhouse tries to land a cross, but Rattray sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Rattray closes the distance and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Rattray advances into close range and lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Rattray drives a left hook into Stenhouse's liver.  
Rattray lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rattray steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Some sustained pressure from Rattray could be enough to finish Stenhouse!  Rattray hits home with a weighty cross.  STENHOUSE IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Rattray!
