Lloyd Saunders vs Robert Mellish

Boxing Daily Report from the The wright promotion promoted show at Club Famous, Kingston,  taking place on 25/03/2038:

Clearly The wright promotion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsMax, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lloyd Saunders (41(28) - 7(6)) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Robert Mellish(18 - 12(8)) from Boulder, USA.  Both Saunders and Mellish weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sid Eddie, and the three ringside judges are John French, Charles Alford and Jacob Pye.  

Round 1: 

Saunders lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mellish tries to land a right uppercut, but Saunders sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.

Saunders advances into close range and lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Saunders quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Saunders lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Saunders throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Saunders whips in a mean right hook to Mellish's body.  MELLISH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mellish quickly recovers. 
Mellish tries to keep the action at long range.  Saunders lands a ramrod jab.  Saunders attempts to land a cross, but Mellish sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Saunders lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Saunders is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right hook, but Mellish parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Saunders lands a cross, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mellish switches the action to the outside.  Saunders sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Saunders closes the distance.  Mellish tries to land a right hook, but Saunders slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Saunders attempts to land a jab, but Mellish parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Saunders advances into close range and digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Saunders sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Mellish quickly recovers. 
Saunders sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Mellish lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Mellish pivots to the side of his opponent.  Saunders whips in a nasty left hook to Mellish's body.  MELLISH IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.
