Ewan Hogan vs Mark Markey

Boxing Daily Report from the Rico Boxing Promotions promoted show at Cleveland Sare, Cleveland,  taking place on 05/02/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Ohio Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ewan Hogan (2 - 3 - 3) who hails from Columbus, USA and Mark Markey(19 - 21(2) - 3) from Columbus, USA.  Both Hogan and Markey weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Wayne Cleary, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Schatte, James Osmundsen and Noel Bigg.  

Round 1: 

Hogan tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand left.  
Hogan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
As Hogan tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Markey dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hogan's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Markey's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Markey throws a right hook, but Hogan holds on to his opponent.  Hogan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hogan.  
Markey gets on the inside.  Hogan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  As Markey tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hogan dabs at his face checking for damage.
