Rex Douillet vs Ricky Wren

Boxing Daily Report from the Banks Prize Fighting promoted show at Philadelphia Purdie, Philadelphia,  taking place on 05/02/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Pennsylvania Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Douillet (30(19) - 1 - 1) who hails from Pittsburgh, USA and Ricky Wren(19 - 25(2) - 4) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Douillet and Wren weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Nodine, and the three ringside judges are Ben Begue, Bryn Cowens and Sam Fenty.  

Round 1: 

Douillet closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Douillet clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Douillet pushes his forearm into Wren's face.  The referee warns Douillet and breaks the clinch.  
Douillet advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to Wren's ribcage.  
Douillet lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Douillet connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Douillet lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Douillet ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Douillet lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Douillet lands a firm cross.  Douillet throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Douillet closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Wren's body.  
Douillet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and whips in a big left hook to his opponents body.  WREN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Douillet is on target with a solid overhand left.  
Douillet digs in a firm right hook to Wren's body.  
Douillet advances into close range and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Douillet hits home with a firm right hook.  Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Wren behind the head. 
Douillet lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Wren almost instantly recovers. 
Wren throws a left hook, but Douillet ties up his opponent.  Douillet is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Douillet lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Douillet digs in a firm left uppercut to Wren's liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Wren's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Wren's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Douillet sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Wren tries to keep the action at long range.  Douillet is on target with a jab.  
Douillet closes the distance and drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Wren tries to step out of his opponents range.  Douillet hits home with a sharp cross.  
Douillet closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Wren tries to step out of his opponents range.  Douillet lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Wren sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Douillet lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Douillet is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Wren pivots from in front of his opponent.  Douillet lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Douillet walks his opponent into a corner.  Douillet is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Douillet digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Douillet lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Douillet lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Douillet knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Douillet lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS WREN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Wren has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Douillet closes the distance.  Wren throws a right uppercut, but Douillet holds on to his opponent.  Douillet is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Douillet's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Douillet is on target with a telling right hook to his opponents body.  WREN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Douillet ties up his opponent.  Douillet leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Douillet's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Douillet pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right hook into Wren's body.  
Douillet sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Douillet lands a left hook.  
Douillet drives a solid left hook into Wren's body.  
Douillet lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Douillet is on target with a firm left hook.  
Douillet lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, KNOCKING WREN DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Douillet!
