Rob Clark vs Kyle Brodrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Mon Vuitton promoted show at San Jose Mewies, San Jose,  taking place on 05/02/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-California Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Clark (30(21) - 2(1)) who hails from Riverside, USA and Kyle Brodrick(13 - 14(4) - 4) from Modesto, USA.  Clark weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces, while Brodrick weighed in at 153 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Gaddie, and the three ringside judges are Leeroy Hughen, Edward Fernandez and Bruce Elias.  

Round 1: 

Clark lands a jab.  
Clark connects with a solid right hook.  Clark ties up his opponent.  Clark uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Brodrick's kidney. 
Clark hits home with a left hook.  
Clark manages to force Brodrick into a neutral corner.  Clark lands a right hook.  
Brodrick throws a left hook, but Clark ties up his opponent.  Clark is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Clark's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Clark pivots to the right of his opponent.  Clark throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Clark holds on to his opponent.  Clark is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Clark's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Clark is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  As Brodrick tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Clark dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Clark advances into close range.  Clark sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Clark steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Clark forces Brodrick to retreat into the red corner.  Clark lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Clark hits home with a firm cross.  
Clark gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Clark ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Clark pushes his forearm into Brodrick's face.  The referee warns Clark and breaks the clinch.  Brodrick quickly recovers. 
Clark lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Brodrick is on target with a cross.  
Clark steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Clark clinches his opponent.  Clark hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Clark gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Clark lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Clark lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Clark gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Clark holds on to his opponent.  Clark is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Brodrick hits home with a cross.  
Clark lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Clark is on target with a jab.  
Clark strikes his opponents body with a stinging jab.  
Clark is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Brodrick switches the action to the outside.  Clark finds the target with a hard jab.  
Clark is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Clark walks Brodrick into the blue corner.  Clark lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Clark gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Clark drives a stinging left hook into Brodrick's body.  
Clark is on target with a weighty left uppercut to his opponents body.  BRODRICK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Brodrick quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Brodrick's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work. Clark is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Clark knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Clark lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES BRODRICK!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Clark!
