Abby Meins vs Dutch Strubel

Boxing Daily Report from the BoxHaus AG promoted show at Basel Gerecke, Basel,  taking place on 13/02/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Switzerland Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport Szene Fernsehen, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Abby Meins (10 - 10 - 3) who hails from Winterthur, Switzerland and Dutch Frenchy Strubel(31(21) - 4(3) - 1(NC)) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Meins weighed in at 126 pounds and 12 ounces, while Strubel weighed in at 125 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Meins came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Roland Kutzler, and the three ringside judges are Adolpho Schappert, Walten Gergel and Meinhard Gerdts.  

Round 1: 

Strubel advances into close range.  As Meins tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Strubel dabs at his face checking for damage.
