Robert Boamponsem vs Naftali Afrani

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Western Ghana promoted show at Razi Danquah Gym, Takoradi,  taking place on 21/02/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Western Ghana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Boamponsem (7 - 21(1) - 3) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Naftali Afrani(7 - 3 - 1) from Takoradi, Ghana.  Boamponsem weighed in at 147 pounds, while Afrani weighed in at 146 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Richard Ofosu-Ayeh, and the three ringside judges are Naeem Adusei, Naeem Adusei and Zain Karimi.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Boamponsem.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
