David Kiilu vs Uba Chesoni

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Quadrees Magwanga Gym, Kikuyu,  taking place on 23/02/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kiambu Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Kiilu (9 - 3 - 2) who hails from Ruiru, Kenya and Uba Chesoni(12 - 21(1) - 3) from Kikuyu, Kenya.  Kiilu weighed in at 244 pounds and 13 ounces, while Chesoni weighed in at 212 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jay Karanja, and the three ringside judges are Jake Merande, Sam Ngugi and Amon Itote.  

Round 1: 

Kiilu tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with an overhand left.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Chesoni has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Kiilu switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.
