Peter Agot vs Alec Waweru

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kenya-Kisumu Gym, Kisumu,  taking place on 23/02/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kisumu Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Peter Agot (8 - 19 - 1) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Alec Waweru(17 - 10 - 3) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Agot and Waweru weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Wacera, and the three ringside judges are Udenwa Lalang, Udenwa Lalang and Peter Kirui.  

Round 1: 

Waweru steps inside.  Agot is on target with a right hook.

Agot wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Waweru dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Waweru.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
