Alec Ngongo vs Bryan Ambani

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Razi Masinde Gym, Mombasa,  taking place on 23/02/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alec Ngongo (20 - 12 - 3) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Bryan Ambani(11 - 6 - 3) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Ngongo weighed in at 160 pounds, while Ambani weighed in at 160 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Ambani came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Michael Bwakali, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Badini, Lewis Muriuki and Sam Yiampoy.

Ambani pivots to the side of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ambani has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Ngongo lands a jab.  
Ambani leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ngongo tries to tag Ambani on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Ngongo hits home with a left hook.
