Vegas Vallez vs Alejandro Almas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Ecatepec Montejano, Ecatepec,  taking place on 27/02/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vegas Vallez (4 - 12 - 4) who hails from Tlalnepantla, Mexico and Alejandro Almas(16 - 26(1) - 5) from Ecatepec, Mexico.  Both Vallez and Almas weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Licona, and the three ringside judges are Ximen Fleites, Emanuel Macario and Onofre Linan.  

Round 1: 

Almas is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.
