Ryo Shishido vs Hikaru Shiba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Naoki Maita Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 01/03/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Tokyo Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryo Shishido (27 - 14(2) - 4) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Hikaru Shiba(8 - 14 - 2) from Tokyo, Japan.  Shishido weighed in at 136 pounds and 1 ounces, while Shiba weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces.    As Shishido came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Shibuya, and the three ringside judges are Yasushi Shishido, Yutaka Hirayama and Hikaru Nakamura.
