Jordan Gichure vs Ian Cherop

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Nairobi Kasaine, Nairobi,  taking place on 27/02/2038:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jordan Gichure (9 - 14 - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Ian Cherop(3 - 10 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Gichure and Cherop weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Duncan Wakihuri, and the three ringside judges are Manu Yator, Shaun Chelangat and Billy Tumbo.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Gichure.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.
