Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur promoted show at Dillon Manglona Gym, Zamboanga City,  taking place on 01/03/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Frisco Sarabia (7 - 10(1) - 2) who hails from Pagadian, Philippines and Juan Avitia(17 - 18(4) - 6) from Zamboanga City, Philippines.  Both Sarabia and Avitia weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paco Pinto, and the three ringside judges are Xavion Raganit, Santiago Caluag and Joaquin Malang.  

Round 1: 

Sarabia advances into close range.  Avitia throws a left hook, but Sarabia clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sarabia steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Avitia voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Sarabia accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Avitia.

Sarabia sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Avitia dabs at his face checking for damage.
