Gethin Poku vs Phil Antwi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 25/03/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gethin Poku (4 - 21(2) - 4) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Phil Antwi(26(9) - 10(8)) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Poku and Antwi weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brad Kyei, and the three ringside judges are Connor Salifu, Tamarius Ankomah and Amon Amartey.  

Round 1: 

Poku pivots to the right of his opponent.  Antwi is on target with a left hook.  Antwi clinches his opponent.  Antwi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Poku tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
Antwi steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Antwi forces Poku to retreat into the red corner.  Antwi hits home with a solid right hook.  Antwi attempts to land a left hook, but Poku blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Antwi throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Antwi ties up his opponent.  Antwi pushes his forearm into Poku's face.  The referee warns Antwi and breaks the clinch.  
Antwi connects with a left hook.  Antwi ties up his opponent.  Antwi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Antwi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Antwi walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Antwi drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Poku is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Poku sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with an overhand right.

Antwi forces Poku to retreat into the blue corner.  Antwi throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Antwi ties up his opponent.  Antwi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Antwi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Antwi digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Poku sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Antwi digs in a sharp left hook to Poku's body.

Antwi lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS POKU TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Poku switches the action to the outside.  Antwi is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Antwi lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS POKU!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Poku has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
