Satoru Umemoto vs Daichi Funai

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Ryōgoku Kokugikan, Tokyo,  taking place on 17/04/2038:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Satoru Umemoto (27(7) - 19(5) - 5) who hails from Shizuoka, Japan and Daichi Funai(15(9) - 2(1)) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Umemoto and Funai weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nao Goya, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Taira, Goro Oyama and Kaede Yamazaki.
