John Reaney vs Inigo Appleton

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Grand Rapids Napier, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 08/04/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Reaney (9 - 17(2) - 2) who hails from Warren, USA and Inigo Appleton(20 - 11(1) - 3) from Detroit, USA.  Both Reaney and Appleton weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matthew Mulrennan, and the three ringside judges are Sam Vannett, Mike Devin and Lewis Chiens.  

Round 1: 

Appleton steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Reaney is whaling away with hooks, but Appleton keeps his defence tight.
