Gervasio Mirando vs Waqar Qureshi

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Stanford Stadium, San Francisco,  taking place on 22/05/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Iron Gervasio Mirando (59(54) - 3(1)) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Waqar Qureshi(32(6) - 18(14) - 1) from Irbid, Jordan.  Both Mirando and Qureshi weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Ronald, and the three ringside judges are Cruz Arebalo, Mike Amores and William Shawn.  

Round 1: 

Qureshi steps inside and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Qureshi gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Mirando on the ropes.  Qureshi pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mirando is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Mirando switches the action to the outside.  Qureshi connects with an overhand left.  
Mirando steps to the outside and SLAMS a WICKED cross into his opponents face.  QURESHI IS HURT!  Qureshi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Qureshi is looking to close the distance.  Mirando connects with a right hook.  Mirando attempts to land a right hook, but Qureshi sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Mirando steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Mirando throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  Qureshi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Mirando digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Mirando steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Mirando hits home with a sharp cross.  
Qureshi closes the distance.  Mirando connects with a sharp left hook.  
Qureshi manages to force Mirando onto the ropes.  Mirando lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Qureshi closes the distance.  Mirando senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Mirando lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS QURESHI DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Mirando lands two right uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND QURESHI IS DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Mirando!
