Angel Mellado vs Gervasio Calero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Vicente Delgadillo Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 17/09/2021:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Mellado (8 - 0 - 1) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Gervasio Calero(7 - 0 - 1) from Ecatepec, Mexico.  Both Mellado and Calero weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isidro Morena, and the three ringside judges are Edmundo Naranjo, Xavier Alverez and Emanuel Mieras.
