Jemond Marais vs Marlon Bastien

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 01/05/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jemond Marais (17(3) - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Marlon Bastien(22(3) - 9(3)) from Gaineau, Canada.  Marais weighed in at 147 pounds, while Bastien weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aramis Duvauchelle, and the three ringside judges are Louis Gillespie, Gower Paille and Chevy Robert.  

Round 1: 

Bastien pivots to the right of his opponent.  Marais connects with a sharp left hook.
