Jean-Baptiste Carel vs Mallory Mordasini

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Wigwam Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 28/03/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jean-Baptiste Carel (1 - 0) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Mallory Mordasini(9 - 9(1) - 4) from Pikine, Senegal.  Both Carel and Mordasini weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vernon Thiaw, and the three ringside judges are Aramis Gassama, Romain Ndong and Rance Artaud.  

Round 1: 

Mordasini throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Carel cuts off the ring, trapping Mordasini in a corner.  Carel lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  Carel wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mordasini dabs at his face checking for damage.  Mordasini has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Carel lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Carel drives a powerful right hook into Mordasini's body.  MORDASINI IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Carel digs in a firm left hook to Mordasini's liver.  
Carel closes the distance and lands a solid right hook.  
Carel lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Carel ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Carel pushes his forearm into Mordasini's face.  The ref breaks Carel's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carel hits home with a left hook.  
Carel connects with a left hook.  
Carel advances into close range.  Carel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Carel drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Carel holds on to his opponent.  Carel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mordasini attempts to land a right hook, but Carel slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Carel manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Carel is on target with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  MORDASINI IS HURT!  Carel ties up his opponent.  Carel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Mordasini almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Carel hits home with a left uppercut.  
Carel gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Carel pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Carel steps inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Carel lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mordasini tries to land a cross, but Carel sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Mordasini gets on the inside.  Carel connects with a stinging right hook.  
Carel lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mordasini's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mordasini's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Carel digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MORDASINI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mordasini almost instantly recovers.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mordasini's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Mordasini's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Carel lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Carel manouvers Mordasini into the corner.  Carel lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Carel gets on the inside.  Carel sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mordasini throws a left hook, but Carel ties up his opponent.  Carel leans on his opponent using all his weight. Mordasini pushes his forearm into Carel's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mordasini to stop fouling.  
Carel pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Carel lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Carel lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Mordasini quickly recovers.

The right shot from Carel could be enough to force the stoppage!  Carel connects with a FIERCE right hook.  DOWN GOES MORDASINI!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Carel!
