Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Ponce promoted show at Juan Malagon Gym, Ponce,  taking place on 28/09/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Puerto Rico Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gig Ferrin (6 - 1 - 3) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Pedro Lares(5 - 2 - 1) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Both Ferrin and Lares weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Porfio Miguel, and the three ringside judges are Ivan Magro, Ivan Magro and Nicandro Martinez.
