Blake Baisley vs Justin Hendrickson

Boxing Daily Report from the Kanda Promotions promoted show at Burnaby Hobbie, Burnaby,  taking place on 17/04/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Blake Baisley (6 - 4 - 1) who hails from Vancouver, Canada and Justin Hendrickson(11 - 13 - 1) from Vancouver, Canada.  Both Baisley and Hendrickson weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Low, and the three ringside judges are Noah Tedford, James Clelland and John Hendren.  

Round 1: 

Baisley connects with a left hook.  
Baisley lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Baisley throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Baisley is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Baisley holds on to his opponent.  Hendrickson pushes his forearm into Baisley's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hendrickson about fouling.  
Baisley digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Baisley throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Baisley clinches his opponent.  Baisley is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Baisley hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Baisley lands a sharp right hook.  
Baisley steps inside.  Hendrickson throws a left uppercut, but Baisley clinches his opponent.  Baisley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hendrickson is looking to keep his distance.  Baisley lands a cross.  
Baisley lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Baisley walks Hendrickson onto the ropes.  Baisley throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Baisley clinches his opponent.  Baisley is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Baisley and breaks the clinch.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Hendrickson has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Baisley digs in a solid left uppercut to Hendrickson's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hendrickson's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Hendrickson's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
