Sam Morrice vs Harvey Maskell

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 03/10/2021:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Canterbury have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Morrice (10 - 0) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Harvey Maskell(7 - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Morrice weighed in at 219 pounds and 7 ounces, while Maskell weighed in at 239 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harry Callison, and the three ringside judges are Mike Muncie, Paul Moad and Dave Sprouse.
