Can Cholasan vs Omer Shashmaz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Istanbul promoted show at Turkey-Istanbul Gym, Istanbul,  taking place on 01/10/2021:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Turkey Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Can Cholasan (9(4) - 0) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Omer Shashmaz(7 - 1 - 1) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Both Cholasan and Shashmaz weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Murat Satir, and the three ringside judges are Devrim Saygi, Baris Kahveci and Savas Dagdelen.  

Round 1: 

Cholasan advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Cholasan clinches his opponent.  Cholasan leans on his opponent using all his weight.
