Kalidas Chandra vs Chandrakant Maraj

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Siddharth Thaker Gym, Surat,  taking place on 22/04/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Gujurat Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kalidas Chandra (4(2) - 3) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Chandrakant Maraj(8 - 4 - 6) from Ahmedabad, India.  Chandra weighed in at 146 pounds And 15 ounces, while Maraj weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Premnath Rangaswamy, and the three ringside judges are Hrithik Zivarattinam, Zafa Firman and Santhosh Bhalla.  

Round 1: 

Chandra closes the distance.  Maraj attempts to land a left hook, but Chandra slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Chandra connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Chandra ties up his opponent.  Chandra is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Chandra and breaks the clinch.  
Chandra lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Chandra holds on to his opponent.  Chandra leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Chandra pivots to the right of his opponent.  Maraj throws a left hook, but Chandra clinches his opponent.  Chandra uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Maraj's kidney. As they grapple, Chandra pushes his forearm into Maraj's face.  The referee warns Chandra and breaks the clinch.  
Chandra throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Chandra ties up his opponent.  Chandra tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Maraj behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chandra.  
Chandra lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Chandra walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Chandra sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Chandra lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Chandra holds on to his opponent.  Chandra tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Maraj's kidney. The ref breaks Chandra's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Chandra pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Chandra closes the distance.  Maraj throws a left hook, but Chandra clinches his opponent.  Chandra leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Chandra pivots to the right of his opponent.  Chandra lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  Chandra ties up his opponent.  Chandra throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chandra.  
Chandra lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Chandra lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Chandra digs in a right hook to Maraj's body.  
Chandra hits home with a firm left hook.  
Chandra closes the distance and is on target with a firm left hook.

Maraj quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Chandra connects with a cross.
