Jasper Mathenge vs Mark Wambui

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Lihalakha, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/10/2021:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jasper Mathenge (9 - 0) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Mark Wambui(6 - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Mathenge weighed in at 147 pounds, while Wambui weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyrone Koimbori, and the three ringside judges are Paul Changeywo, Nathan Andersson and Stuart Lone.
