Khalid Salakhov vs Sadikh Mardanov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Muzaffar Allakhyarov Gym, Baku,  taking place on 08/10/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khalid Salakhov (7 - 1 - 1) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Sadikh Mardanov(6 - 2 - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Salakhov and Mardanov weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nariman Jafri, and the three ringside judges are Mammad Akbarov, Aghasafa Abdurakhmanov and Mehman Dzhafarov.
