Kazuki Shiraki vs Yasushi Asano

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Level5 Stadium, Fukuoka,  taking place on 22/05/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TBS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kazuki Shiraki (20(13) - 0) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Yasushi Asano(15(2) - 3(2)) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Both Shiraki and Asano weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuki Shimoda, and the three ringside judges are Ryuu Komatsu, Yoshi Ogura and Yuji Sakai.  

Round 1: 

Shiraki is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Shiraki cuts off the ring, trapping Asano on the ropes.  Shiraki pivots to the side of his opponent.  Shiraki lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Shiraki attempts to land a right uppercut, but Asano sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Asano switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  Asano attempts to land a jab, but Shiraki sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Asano's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ASANO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Asano recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Shiraki is looking to close the distance.  Shiraki pivots to the right of his opponent.  Asano throws a left uppercut, but Shiraki ties up his opponent.  Shiraki leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shiraki is on target with a stinging left hook to Asano's ribs.  
Shiraki pivots to the left of his opponent.  Asano lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shiraki gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Shiraki clinches his opponent.  Asano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Shiraki pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Asano steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Asano manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Asano lands with a spiteful jab.  
Shiraki steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Asano tries to tag Shiraki on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Asano connects with a left hook.  
Shiraki advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Shiraki digs in a sharp left hook to Asano's liver.  ASANO IS HURT!  Asano quickly recovers. 
Asano pivots from in front of his opponent.  Shiraki hits home with a stinging cross.  
Asano is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Asano lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Shiraki advances into close range.  Asano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Asano throws a left uppercut, but Shiraki ties up his opponent.  Asano leans on his opponent using all his weight. Asano uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Shiraki behind the head.

Asano connects with a left uppercut.  Shiraki ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Asano pushes his forearm into Shiraki's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Asano about fouling.

Shiraki closes the distance.  Asano throws a left uppercut, but Shiraki ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Shiraki pushes his forearm into Asano's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Shiraki.

Shiraki senses Asano is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Shiraki lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS ASANO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  Asano now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Shiraki lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Asano lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Shiraki gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.
