Michael Omotosho vs Tunde Ilori

Boxing Daily Report from the Olokaonyango Promotions promoted show at Kano Obanta, Kano,  taking place on 30/04/2038:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Omotosho (1 - 17 - 4) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Tunde Ilori(12 - 9 - 3) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Omotosho and Ilori weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Pasha, and the three ringside judges are Obafemi Olayinka, Chinedu Monu and Nathaniel Abiola.  

Round 1: 

Omotosho lands a cross.  
Omotosho is looking to close the distance.  Ilori pivots from in front of his opponent.  Omotosho lands a left hook.  Omotosho attempts to land a left uppercut, but Ilori sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Omotosho walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Ilori is on target with a right hook.  Ilori attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Omotosho's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Omotosho tries to land a left hook, but Ilori blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ilori tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Omotosho advances into close range and forces Ilori to retreat into the corner.  Omotosho pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ilori connects with a left hook.  As Ilori tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Omotosho dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Omotosho is looking to close the distance.  Omotosho pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.
